Cole Assin

July 12, 1996 – November 7, 2021

Cole was a resident of Keewatin, Ontario passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at the age of 25.

He was predeceased by his mother Rose Assin, grandfather George Assin, great grandmother Mary Assin (Smith), aunt Gloria Assin, uncles Frankie and Gary Assin and his great grandmother Alice Fisher (velcro shoe Cheeshkee), and grandmother Grace Assin.

He is survived by his son Marcus Trevor Assin, father Barry Assin, his second parents Trevor (Bonnie) Miller, his siblings Reggie Payash and family, Bellamina Payash and family, Kimiwan Assin, Shakira Keewatin, Robbie Miller, Amy Assin and family, Wayne and Franklin Assin, his aunt Grace-Ann, his aunt Marcella and her children, Craig Assin, Connie Assin and family, Courtney Assin (Etruis and Dimitri), Caitlyn Bull (Starr), aunt Gloria Assin (deceased) and her children, Kimberly Assin and family, Kayla Assin and family, Clayton Assin, Kerry Assin. As well as aunts and uncles Bridgette (Paul), Helen (David), Elaine (Paul), Chief Randy (Vicky), and Gabe Jr. (Sherry), uncle Ted Whitehead .

He will also be missed by his cousins Wendell, Jason, Mikey, Zookipon, Judy, Marc, Shania, Kendaaz, Dustin, Justine, Jada, Macie, Gabrice, Brooke, Nolan, Matt, Emmett as well as his ‘like brothers’ Parker, Tristin, Todd, Kinnu, Maverick, Karupi, Ashley and many more too numerous to mention.

Cole was a happy, energetic and spontaneous person who was always smiling. He was a hard worker and was working hard to provide for his son Marcus. He enjoyed playing volleyball and hanging out with his friends and family.

A Visitation for Cole will be held Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. A Wake Service will begin Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 3:30 pm at Agnes Fisher's Church, Grassy Narrows, Ontario. A Funeral Service will occur Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11:00 am at Agnes Fisher's Church, Grassy Narrows, Ontario.

Cole will be laid to rest in Grassy Narrows First Nation, Grassy Narrows, Ontario.
