Kirk Allan Scott Mandamin Ogimaabines Name odoodeman May 11, 1981 – November 12, 2021

Kirk suddenly passed at his home in Iskatewizaagegan #39 with close friends and family by his side. He leaves his father, Earl (Shona) Wapioke, siblings EJ and Kristen, nephews Quilyn and Zayde. His aunts, Bernice, Vivian, Corrina, Lorraine, Eleanor and his uncles, Lorne, John, Albert Jr, Barry, Farrell and Harvey. He has numerous close cousins (too many to mention), nieces, nephews, close family and many best friends.

Kirk is predeceased by his mom, Leona. His brother, Nathan (OJ). He will be met by his family and friends that passed on.

Besides spending endless time with his friends. Kirk loved to play his video games and to watch his movies. He was never seen without his backpack and carrying his PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Kirk loved to help others, and he never said no to any requests for help. Kirk always had his home open to family and friends who needed a place to stay. Kirk will be remembered as a friendly, gentle, old soul, who was never seen as an angry person. Kirk had a big heart for everyone, who found comfort in visiting loved ones. He especially had, and showed a genuine love for his two nephews, Quilyn and Zayde; he always told them he loved them.

The wake services will start at 12 pm on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Iskatewizaagegan #39 Community Centre. Funeral will follow on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 with Traditional Ceremony officiated by Elders, Stephen Kejick and Robert C. Greene. Kirk will be laid to peacefully rest with his mom, whom he adored.

Special thanks go out to Kirk Boucher, Emergency Ambulance crew, that tried their best to keep him with us. Also, thanks to Amos, Bryce, Mark and Harvey for the donations of firewood and those who donated cash, tobacco and cigarettes. Chi Miigwech to Chief and Council for providing assistance.
