Siksika Nation to host candlelight vigil honouring fallen family members

Members of Siksika Nation will gather to host a candlelight vigil to pay tribute to family members who have passed away.

"You're invited to join us for a family-friendly evening gathering as we honour our loved ones together," said a news release from the organization.

The nation is partnering with Siksika Prevention & Early Intervention during the event.

The vigil will also feature Siksika's interdenominational communities. There will be snacks and refreshments, live music, and a spot for kids to play.

Residents can visit the Siksika Piiksapi Memorial Arbor on Wednesday, Feb. 26 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
