Drumheller RCMP is asking the public to fill out a survey to determine how policing priorities are made in the valley.

"Help make our community a safer place to live, work, learn, and play by sharing your thoughts in an online survey," mentioned police.

The survey is anonymous and includes information asking residents about where they live including Drumheller, Carbon, Delia, Kneehill County, Stettler County, and Wheatland County.

It also asks the public about the importance of issues like officer patrols for traffic safety at schools and playgrounds and how important it is.

There are also questions geared towards police visibility in the community, education, town hall meetings, crime reduction, and the importance of media releases for awareness of what RCMP is doing in the community.

The deadline to complete the survey is March 12 and it can be viewed here.
