The Estevan Public Youth Centre (EPYC) is under new leadership, with Bonnie Chepil-Kvamme and Maisy Daoust stepping in as co-executive program directors. They kicked off their roles with a soft reopening in January, hosting an Olympic-themed event that brought together youth, local teams, and volunteers. Now, they’re gearing up for a delicious fundraiser in March, and they joined SUN 102 to share the details. You can listen to the full interview at the bottom of this article.
EPYC is partnering with Eddie Webster’s for a week-long fundraiser from March 10 to 16. During that time, proceeds from two specialty grilled cheese sandwiches and a featured poutine will go toward supporting the centre’s programs and initiatives.
Here’s what’s on the menu:
-
Brisket Grilled Cheese – A multigrain sandwich loaded with Swiss cheese, shaved smoked brisket, sautéed onions, and Eddie’s signature Alabama sauce.
-
Chicken Tender Grilled Cheese – A kid-friendly option featuring breaded chicken tenders, cheddar cheese, honey BBQ sauce, and lettuce on multigrain bread.
-
Pork Shank Mac & Cheese Poutine – A hearty dish with fries, cheese curds, homemade gravy, house-made mac and cheese, fried jalapeños, pulled pork shank, and the signature Alabama sauce.
This fundraiser is a delicious way to support EPYC and its mission to provide a safe and engaging space for local youth. For more details, follow EPYC on Facebook at "Estevan Public Youth Centre" and on Instagram and Snapchat under "EPYC."
