County crews have confirmed that the gas release in the area of Highway 674 (Teepee Creek Highway) and Range Road 54 has been contained and is no longer is releasing.
County Regional Fire and Enforcement Services are in the process of leaving the scene.

County Regional Fire and Enforcement advise the public to avoid the area of Highway 674 (Teepee Creek Highway) and Range Road 54 as they respond to a gas release in the area. There is no threat to the public. Residents may notice a strong smell. Anyone with sensitivities should remain indoors. If you feel sick, please call 911.
Gas monitoring is being conducted in conjunction with industry partners and is not showing any detectable levels. Emergency crews are on site. Ongoing work is being done to shut down the gas release.
The smell is traveling as far north as Township Road 742 and as far east as Range Road 44.
Traffic may be disrupted due to ongoing work in the area. Please avoid the area to allow crews the space to conduct their work.
