With the Kings needing two goals to win, they scored once in the first few minutes. However, the Cubs got another goal less than a minute later, maintaining their one goal lead.

With just over five minutes left, the Kings evened the score with another goal, which was followed by one of the Cubs being injured and having to be taken off the ice.

In the final two minutes the Kings managed to score not once, but twice, with their final goal being an empty netter with 20 seconds left in the game.

In order to carry into round three of the playoffs, the Kings will need to win their next two games. Game four takes place in Medicine Hat on Friday at 7:45 p.m.
