Another member of the Duck Dynasty family is dealing with health struggles after a fall left them with serious injuries.
In the latest episode of the family's podcast, Duck Call Room, Jase talked about the incident.
"Kay had another fall, which, she falls a lot. And it was a substantial injury but she's doing pretty well," said Jase.
He says he was about to speak at an event when the people who care for his parents let him know what had happened.
"The people that are around them 24/7, because we obviously can't be there at all times, sent us a graphic picture right when she cut her leg and it was severe," Jase explained. "I was fixed to get up on stage and see this picture of my mom and I was like, "Oh man. Get her to the hospital.""
Jase said she is now recovering at home.
In the podcast, they also gave an update on Phil, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's late last year.
Jase announced in December 2024 that his father's health was declining.
"Phil's not doing well. We were trying to figure out the diagnosis, but according to the doctors, they are sure that he has some sort of blood disease causing all kinds of problems.”
He also went on to say his father was suffering from the early stages of Alzheimer's.
"We’ve got a team of doctors, and then we have another set of doctors who are looking at all the tests, and they’re all in agreement that there’s no curing what he has.”
Phil's brother Si, who is now fully recovered after a hunting incident last month, updated everyone on the situation saying Phil is doing pretty good these days.
"He's had better days, but we're at that age in our life where difficulties arrive," said his brother Si. "We're getting old. All we've got in front of us is the great."
During the podcast, Jase and his brother admitted that it's hard to watch their parents age.
"Mentally, neither one of them is where they once were," said Jase.
The Duck Dynasty family, minus Phil, is expected to return to the screen this summer with the latest reboot of their show, Duck Dynasty: The Revival.
