Tonight will see the Prairie Sons take to the stage at the Event Center at the Living Sky Casino as part of the "Stars for Saskatchewan" series put on by the Swift Current Arts Council.
The group consists of cellist David Liam Roberts and pianist Godwin Friesen who find inspiration for their music for the Canadian West.
According to a press release from the Organization of Saskatchewan Arts Councils, both gentlemen were awarded and featured in CBC's Hot 30 Classical Musicians Under 30, and their concert program reflects their expansive perspective.
The duo will also be presenting a mini concert to the students at the Maverick High School at 1:00 pm.
Doors open tonight at 6:30 pm with the show beginning at 7:30 pm and tickets are still available here.
