We are into the final days of February, and also the last little bit of I Love to Read Month. We’ve been all over the Pembina and Red River Valleys reading to students, including yesterday when CFAM Radio 950's Chris Sumner dropped by Emerson Elementary School for his final reading of the month. I visited Ms. Nikki Curran’s Grade ½ class.

When they wrapped up their time together, Chris chatted with Grade 2 students Oliver and Parker and Grade 1 student Willow.

Part of that conversation was having the trio tell him a story they made up as they went. Listen below to hear the story of the dog Dozh and his owner Ali who were playing hide and seek at the park in Emerson, and ended the day with a wonderful meal of dog good and spicy chicken. The dog food was for Dozh, by the way.
