Brooke Ligertwood recovering after unexpected spider encounter

Grammy-award-winning singer, songwriter and worship leader Brooke Ligertwood is recovering after an incident in Australia. 

The popular singer was bitten by a venomous spider, sending her to the hospital for treatment.

"Checks "bitten by a venomous spider" off bucket list," said Ligertwood in a post on social media.

Although it was a scary experience, Brooke says it was funny and that she is fine.
