After a year away from the shop, Aqua Pumphouse is officially back in business!
Calvin Andres and his wife, Terri, the owners of Aqua Pumphouse, are thrilled to be back in their original location at 1777 Chaplin St. West – now updated with a brand-new look.
“It’s nice to be back,” said Andres, “We’re happy to be in a place where we can help the southwest get their water flowing again.”
Aqua Pumphouse has been in business for over 50 years, primarily providing parts, service for water, and sewer maintenance and repairs. From the smallest at-home repair to full water and sewer systems, they’re happy to help you find the solutions you need.
Calvin Andres’ interest in the industry comes from a farming and oilpatch background, but his true passion for the work is “just wanting to help people.”
“We’re kind of a one-stop shop to figure out what you need to do, and I’ll do my best to try to make it happen,” said Andres. If you have any water related issues – poor water flow, leaks, sewer backups – Andres can get you on the right track. “I pay attention to all the details, even the ones people might not think are important. It’s all necessary to help you find the missing pieces needed to find the right answers.”
“We also have people we can call who may have better expertise in a certain area, so even if we don’t have the immediate solution, we can get you where you need to go.”
In addition to parts and service, Aqua Pumphouse is happy to offer advice for water system inspections and preventative maintenance.
“If you’ve lived in the city all your life and want to go to an acreage, there are certain water-related issues you may not know to look for, so I can help people going through the buying process to make sure they’re not missing something big,” he said.
As for preventative maintenance, “there are always little troubleshooting things you can go and do, like checking the air pressure in your pressure tank, checking the water run-off outside and where it’s going inside, stuff like that.”
When you understand water like Andres does, it can be tough to summarize everything there is to know.
