The City of Grande Prairie invites everyone to join them for the State of the City: Grander Conversations event happening on March 25, featuring two panel discussions with community and industry leaders. The event will explore the city’s growth, opportunities and future development.
The community panel will feature representatives from key sectors, including social services, post-secondary education, and healthcare. The industry panel will bring together experts from the forestry, energy and agriculture sectors. A full list of panelists will be announced soon.
This year’s event will also provide updates on major projects within the City and the greater Grande Prairie region. Ken Drysdale, Chairman of the Board for Maskwa, will share the latest news on the Maskwa Medical Centre. Kyle Reiling, Executive Director of the Greenview Industrial Gateway (GIG), home to the future Wonder Valley development, will discuss ongoing progress and future plans.
Moderated by Grande Prairie Mayor Jackie Clayton, Grander Conversations is an opportunity to gain firsthand insights into emerging trends, economic outlooks, and community initiatives.
"The State of the City: Grander Conversations is a chance to highlight our progress as a community and the steps we are taking toward future growth," says Mayor Clayton. "By fostering meaningful discussions on both the challenges and opportunities ahead, we can work together toward a shared vision for Grande Prairie."
The event will also mark the official release of the 2024 Annual Report.
