Full road closure at 132 Avenue CN crossing for signal upgrades on March 6

CN is set to begin rail crossing upgrade work at the 132 Avenue crossing on March 4, requiring lane reductions and alternating traffic patterns throughout the project.

A full road closure of 132 Avenue for both eastbound and westbound traffic is scheduled for Thursday, March 6, from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. A detour is planned via 97 Street and 148 Avenue. The closure is necessary to accommodate overhead and crane work by CN.

The project is expected to take just over a week, with the following impacts:

• March 4-12: Traffic reductions and alternating traffic patterns. Eastbound and westbound traffic can still pass through the site.
• March 6: Full 132 Avenue roadway closure at the rail crossing. Traffic, including trucks, must detour via 97 Street and 148 Avenue.
