Humboldt Broncos announce commitment of D Finn McGhie for 2025-26 season

The Humboldt Broncos have received another commitment for the upcoming 2025-26 season.  

2007-born defenceman Finn McGhie has declared his commitment to the team. 

The Sherwood Park AB product is currently in his third season with the Sherwood Park Kings U18 AAA program and has 13 points (4G-9A) in 38 games. 

Listed as 5’9, McGhie has played 113 games with U18 AAA Kings collecting 39 points during that span. 

Broncos HC/GM Brayden Klimosko said in a team release, ““Finn has the ability to excel as a playmaking defenseman. His high hockey-IQ and quick decision making allows him to break the puck out of his own zone and create plays off the rush at a high level. We’re excited to get him in Humboldt next season and develop his game.”
