SHSAA Regional Wrestling took place over the weekend with west-central combatants in action. Athletes gathered together in Carrot River, fighting for the right to advance to provincials in Regina the following weekend.
The top six in each category earned the right to advance to the two-day tournament taking place this weekend at the University of Regina. The local athletes and results from regionals are below:

Local wrestlers will look to put up another strong showing like last year in Saskatoon. In 3A Girls Wilkie finished on top with 15 points, Elrose in fourth with 5 points, Rosetown taking 1 point at provincials. In 3A Boys, Wilkie finished just behind Strasbourg for second with ten points, Unity behind them in third with 8 points.
