An extraordinary image of a bald eagle and a magpie eating a rabbit together was posted to a Strathmore social media page.
The image was shared by Sean Currie, a local photographer who has an eye for wildlife.
"I've had an interest for quite a while. I started taking it up more in the early 2000s. I had just a little point-and-shoot camera, and it took 15 seconds between photos, so they had to be well thought out in advance."
After learning the ropes Currie invested in newer equipment, including a telephoto lens which allows him to take clear photos of animals from several hundred metres away.

The photo of the birds sharing a meal was taken by Currie in February near Rockyford.
"I was out looking for snowy owls that day," added Currie. "Wildlife photography is a job of opportunity, so you have to take what you can get some days."
According to Currie, the bald eagle was eating a meal when the magpie came along and asked for food.
Throughout all his years of taking photographs, this wasn't the first time he had spotted a symbiotic relationship between two different species.
"Just north of town a couple of springs ago I saw a bald eagle up on a tree. He had a gopher in his one talon, and there was a magpie just screaming at him to drop it."
For aspiring photographers, Currie suggests that they practice and learn editing. He also advocates shooting photos in full manual, as it gives the photographer more control.
