Snow clearing and ice control operations update for Grande Prairie

Grande Prairie snow removal crews are clearing snow today in Pinnacle Ridge and Westpointe.

Tomorrow crews will be in Friday Week B areas of Lakeland, Crystal Ridge, Copperwood and Crystal Lake Estates.

City crews are actively working on snow management, runoff control and road maintenance throughout the community. Today’s activities include:

• Completing lane clearing in Mission Heights before moving to Cobblestone.
• Removing snow piles in Ivy Lake and Landing Drive.
• Grading gravel lanes.
• Using an eductor truck to clear culverts.
• Cleaning catch basins with a water truck.

No-parking signs will be posted in areas scheduled for clearing. To help crews complete their work efficiently, please move vehicles off the street before clearing begins. Vehicles left on the street may be ticketed or towed.
