After dropping three straight games, the Winnipeg Jets have turned things around with back-to-back road wins.

The Jets capped off their second victory in as many nights with a commanding 6-1 win over the New Jersey Devils on Friday. The victory marks the 12th time the Jets have scored six goals in a game this season.

Alex Iafallo opened the scoring late in the first period, burying a rebound at 18:37 to give the Jets a 1-0 lead.

Winnipeg's power play, which had struggled in recent games, continued its resurgence as Josh Morrissey struck on the man advantage at 3:48 of the second period to make it 2-0.

Nikolaj Ehlers added another at 19:30 to extend the lead to three. He would finish the night with a goal and two assists.

The Devils responded early in the third, with Dawson Mercer blasting a one-timer past Connor Hellebuyck just 31 seconds in. That would be the only goal New Jersey managed, as Hellebuyck shut the door the rest of the way, making 22 saves in the win.

Adam Lowry restored the three-goal cushion at 11:56, after stealing the puck in the Devils' zone.

Kyle Connor fired one from the left circle at 14:21 to make it 5-1. Cole Perfetti capped off the scoring at 16:55 with a shot from the right post.

Brandon Tanev, acquired from Seattle earlier in the day, made it to New Jersey in time to make it into the lineup, logging 11:28 of ice time.

Winnipeg has now outscored opponents 10-2 over the two-game winning streak.
