This week the rollercoaster that is spring weather will keep on the tracks as an upswing and downswing of temperatures are being forecasted. That includes one that goes up to double-digits positives in the middle of the week to below-zero temperatures on the weekend.

Environment Canada Meteorologist Stephen Berg takes a look at exactly what we can expect this week.

"Cooler temperatures tomorrow, but then the temperature is slow to balance back quite strongly by mid week with a current high of 13° on Thursday before dropping down on Friday."

The drop in temperatures during the midweek is also likely to come with a bit of precipitation that will be mixed upon arrival.

The temperatures keep dropping on the weekend, down to around -5° in the southeast.

Berg says we won't need to worry about a second winter as that'll be a short cold, expecting it to bounce back up at the start of next week.
