It’s official: the Saskatchewan Rush are for real.

Another riveting game for the Rush as they defeated the Georgia Swam 8-7 Saturday night in Duluth.

Rush broadcaster Cody Janzen says it was another huge team effort.

“This team is absolutely rolling right now, and that’s a good sign for a team that has missed some guys due to injuries and other things.”

The win makes the Rush the first team in the NLL this season to reach 10 wins. Saskatchewan will look to carry their momentum to the east coast on Friday when they face the Halifax Thunderbirds.

“I think Halifax is a little ticked off as well,” said Janzen. “If you remember, Saskatchewan Rush home opener in December, Halifax comes here, they’re up 8-3 and then the Zach Manns show takes over. He scored a sock trick, that’s six goals including the overtime winner, and just crushed the hearts of Thunderbirds fans.”

Catch all the action during Friday’s matchup between the Rush and Thunderbirds on CJYM in Rosetown, CFYM in Kindersley, CJ 1150 in Estevan and Magic 97.1 in Swift Current.
