Stride Credit Union is once again collecting donations for Central Plains Cancer Services from March 10th to 21st at their branches in Austin, Gladstone, MacGregor, Neepawa, and Portage la Prairie.

“Central Plains Cancer Services supports and serves the same communities that Stride does, so it’s an easy fit,” notes Stride CEO Brent Budz. “CPCS is passionate about offering important services to rural Manitobans, and so is Stride Credit Union – so this is a good way for Stride and our staff to get involved in helping CPCS.

All residents and businesses in the area are encouraged to wear purple on the 20th and 21st and put up purple ribbons if possible

Additionally, when you stop in at Stride Credit Union to donate to CPCS, you’ll see CFRY, Mix 96, and Country 93 broadcasting live on location at Stride’s MacGregor, Gladstone, and Neepawa branches on March 20th and 21st.

“We know that cancer touches just about everyone. We have staff members who have gone through cancer treatments or have had family members battle cancer. And, of course, many of our members as well,” shares Budz. “So, we hope that our involvement in the CPCS radiothon can help relieve some stress for local families when dealing with a cancer diagnosis.” To learn more or to donate, please visit stridecu.ca.
