Casey Kruse, a swimmer with the Strathmore Silver Sharks, broke several club records at the Winter Provincial Trials in Calgary.
At the event, Kruse broke the records for 50-metre freestyle, 100-metre freestyle, 50-metre backstroke, and 50-metre breaststroke.
"It just means that all of my training is coming to a big success, and I'm knocking more time off, which is my main goal," said Kruse.
The swim club said that Kruse's "dedication to the Master's lane is unmatched", which she attributes to her love for swimming.

Due to her win at the trials, Kruse has secured a spot at the Canada Summer Games in St. John's as a special Olympics Alberta athlete, and the Special Olympics Alberta Provincial Summer Games in Grande Prairie.
"I'm not as nervous for the competition, but more for the training schedule," laughed Kruse. "I'm probably going to be in the pool six or seven times a week."
Kruse thanked her boss for being flexible with her schedule, and the Silver Sharks for putting a Master's program in Strathmore.
