Highway 1A has reopened in both directions near Gleneagles Drive, east of Cochrane after a serious crash shut it down early Wednesday morning.

The collision happened west of Mountain Ridge Place, and emergency crews remained on the scene for several hours. The highway reopened shortly after 10 a.m.
Authorities have not released details on injuries or the number of vehicles involved.
