A section of Highway 1A near Gleneagles Drive, east of Cochrane, has reopened after being shut down for several hours Wednesday morning due to a crash.

According to RCMP, the collision happened west of Mountain Ridge Place in the early morning hours, prompting emergency crews to close the highway in both directions.
