Business. Community. Family.

Chances are, you’re part of all three. That means you likely know first-hand the unique joy – and incredible challenges – that each one can present.

Burning out trying to grow your business, struggling to build consensus within a non-profit organization, or just trying to figure out how to maintain sanity in the midst of busy schedules; these challenges are all too common in today’s fast-paced world.

For Juli Rohl, founder of Revivis Consulting, it's those challenges that drive her “why”.

A quick visit to the Revivis website pulls it all into focus:

“Revivis was born from the realization that many of us are on an unsustainable path. We each have unlimited potential, but limited capacity. Revivis works with clients to determine where they would like to be, then co-creates strategies to get there. Sustainably.”

That last piece – sustainability – is an important one. It means not just facilitating positive change, but making sure it lasts.

“Sustainable solutions last over time and don’t burn people out,” says Rohl. “We focus on strategic planning to help leaders set the direction for where they want to go – and figure out how to get there.”

That means not just generating change, but making sure it lasts.

Always looking for her “next great project”, Rohl is passionate about solving complex and important problems, drawing on her background as both a geologist in the energy sector and an experienced advisor across business, non-profit and municipal sectors.

“I have a background in science and business, so I kind of blend those two ways of thinking,” she says. “I bring both a technical and logical mindset.”

Oftentimes, she explains, clients will have an idea of where they want to go, but may be missing some of the pieces on how they’ll get there.

“So, you may have thought of the product you want to provide, but not the marketing of it,” says Rohl, as an example. “Or, you may have thought about what you want to do today, but not five years from now. I help leaders and teams develop a well-rounded view of where they want to go.”

Helping to bring clarity to a vision isn’t an easy task, especially because no two businesses are alike. That also means no two challenges are alike, which is why so much of the focus for Rohl is collaborative.

“I guide teams from ideation to actionable plans, ensuring every project is primed for success,” she explains. “The secret sauce that makes it all shine is really group facilitation. You bring people together to have a great conversation and align their ideas of the future with one another.”

Having recently joined the board for Innovate Cochrane, Rohl says staying connected to her own community and helping local businesses build their own sustainable future is an important focus.

“The biggest thing I want to be doing right now is investing in my community. I’ve spent a lot of time building solutions in Alberta for the energy industry at large, and I really want to be investing my time locally in Cochrane, which is why I’ve joined the board for Innovate Cochrane.”
