Tyrell Zacharias has pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including assault causing bodily harm, 3 counts of escape and being at large without excuse, voyeurism, and criminal harassment. These charges are in addition to previous offences related to the unlawful possession or sale of tobacco products, assault, failure to comply, and intimidation. He was also facing charges of publication of an intimate image without consent and sexual assault.
During the hearing, the Crown and defence presented a joint submission recommending a sentence of two years in custody, followed by three years of probation, along with fines exceeding $10,000. Sentencing has been adjourned until October 7, and Zacharias remains on probation until that date.
The Houle case saw a preliminary hearing and is being moved to the Court of Kings Bench in Saskatoon. Houle is charged with sexual interference, sexual assault, making sexually explicit material available to child, contravention of storage regulations, possession of prohibited weapons, possession of prohibited ammunition and unauthorized possession of firearms.
Sonya Laroque pleaded guilty to assault and mischief after assaulting an infant and throwing a rock through a stranger’s window. She was sentenced to 12 months of probation and ordered to pay $810.24 in damages.
The lawyer representing Lyndsay Neumeier informed the court that a resolution has been reached, pending final disclosure. Neumeier is scheduled to return to court on April 1.
An individual identified as Lange pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80 mg. They were fined $1,300.
Additionally, five cases were adjourned to April 1, while four were postponed to April 15.
