Spirits are high with spring here!

There was no set topic going into my latest appearance on the Country 104 morning show, outside of mentioning the U15 Kindersley Klippers hosting Game 1 of the Hi Way 14 Hockey League U15 finals on Friday night.

A championship for Kindersley's U15's would be a long time coming. Nick Cooper and I discussed a fact shared with us earlier in the week, that it's been some 25 years since a U15 team from Kindersley took home the league title. I guessed it might be for Kindersley Minor Hockey as a whole, and you can hear my reasoning why.

After Game 1 on Friday in Kindersley at 8:15 the series will move to Outlook on Tuesday, March 25 when the teams play at 7:30. One team will either complete the sweep, or even the series up with a loss, setting up an overtime mini game for the championship.

It's exciting times at the rink; but once hockey is over, spring can officially set in. Listen below as the Coopers talked about local minor hockey, spring chores, Blue Jays baseball, and what else to look forward to with the season officially changed over.
