The Strathmore Musical Arts Society is preparing to rock the town with another show next month.
Joni Delaurier and Troy Kokol from Scarlett Butler will swing into town to sing some tunes and have fun on April 26.
The pair have been married for over 20 years and decided to start a band during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"We're based in Calgary, just up the road and I would say like we got our start writing country music for other people. So, you'll hear those country influences in a lot of our songwriting."
The duo also writes and performs songs in the folk genre.
Originally the pair planned to come perform in Strathmore, but when the pandemic hit, they had to cancel the show.
"We are so excited. This one's been a long time coming, so we're really excited to come and be in Strathmore again. We love the people," explained Delaurier.
The group wants people to feel comfortable at their shows and have fun.
"We are also a couple, so you'll get a lot of silly couple banter and arguments about who's the better driver on stage. Hopefully, it will feel like you're in our living room or like we're in yours because our living room is a little too small," Delaurier told StrathmoreNow.
The pair will be at the Strathmore Travelodge with doors opening at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m. Tickets are $60 per person.
