This evening, Swift Current is proud to welcome back Susan Aglukark who will be taking to the stage at the events center at the Living Sky Casino.
Aglukark returns as part of the Stars For Saskatchewan Concert Series presented by the Organization of Saskatchewan Arts Councils (OSAC) and the Swift Current Arts Council.
The Swift Current Arts Council hosted Susan Aglukark in the early stages of becoming a council and at the time the performances were held at the Swift Current Comp's cafeteria
According to a press release from OSAC , Aglukark is Canada's first Inuk Juno winner with 4 awards, holds a Governor General's Performing Arts Award and is an Officer of the Order of Canada. Throughout her journey, Susan has released 10 albums, founded the Arctic Rose Foundation, authored children's books, and continues her advocacy through music and storytelling.
Aglukark is currently celebrating her 30th anniversary tour of "This Child".
