Singer, songwriter, pastor and now author Tauren Wells recently released a new project.
Wells hopes his latest EP, Let The Church Sing, will help listeners unite in praise and experience renewed community and adoration.
The inspiration behind this new record came from the launch of Church of Whitestone, which was founded by Wells and his wife, Lorna, in January 2024. Their first weekend made history, with over 4,000 people attending, the largest first-day church launch in American history.
"When we planted the church, it was a major spiritual excavation into the heart," said Wells. "A lot of songs came from the birth of our church. I hope this music and my book remind people of the beauty of faith and community—that true joy is deeply rooted in God’s love, not in our circumstances."
Wells hopes this new EP will have listeners walking away thinking about how amazing church is.
"I hope that we can re-engage with the wonder and beauty of community and faith. I’m still the same child of God, but with a sharpened focus on what He has called me to do in the world."
The album features the title track "Let the Church Sing," and the previously released "Making Room" and Thank You For The Cross."
Meanwhile, later this spring, Wells will release his debut book, Joy Bomb: Unleash Jesus’s Explosive Joy for an Extraordinary Life.
That book will hit shelves May 20, 2025.
