The 13th Annual Equip to Care Radiothon, organized by the Humboldt District Hospital Foundation (HDHF) in partnership with 107.5 Bolt FM, successfully raised $192,303.90 during its four-day event from March 24 to 27.

With this year’s total, the Equip to Care Radiothon has now surpassed the $1 million mark in funds raised over its 13-year history.

This milestone reflects the continued generosity of the community and its dedication to ensuring quality healthcare services at the Humboldt District Health Complex.

The funds for this will be allocated to critical upgrades at the Humboldt District Health Complex, including a digital X-ray system upgrade and the pharmacy clean room upgrade.

Throughout the radiothon, listeners gained insights into the hospital's needs through interviews with healthcare professionals.

Clinical Services Manager Brianne Ronvel discussed the importance of chemotherapy services in Humboldt, while pharmacist Tara Watts highlighted the necessity for an upgraded clean room in the hospital's pharmacy.

The HDHF and 107.5 Bolt FM express their gratitude to all donors, volunteers, and participants who contributed to this year's success. Their collective efforts play a vital role in ensuring that the Humboldt District Health Complex remains equipped to provide high-quality care to the community.
