Further north, Leduc RCMP also advised motorists to stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary, citing hazardous conditions. Before 8:30 p.m., RCMP announced a tow ban was in effect in the Leduc area. No other updates have been issued on the tow ban since Thursday evening.
