The Toronto Blue Jays fell victim on opening day to one of the coolest streaks going in pro sports today.
The Jays gave up six home runs to the visiting Baltimore Orioles in a 12-2 loss, the most notable of the bunch coming in the third inning when Canadian slugger Tyler O'Neill blasted his record setting sixth straight opening day home run:

When it comes to unbreakable records, this has to be up there. For six straight years O'Neill has made the opening day roster, cracked the starting lineup, and hit a home run. That's a streak that takes time and luck.
Other records that likely don't stand a chance of being broken include the clear choice of Wayne Gretzky's point record. Alex Ovechkin is closing in on his record 894 goals, but as the old adage with the great one goes, if #99 didn't score a goal in his career he would still be 42 points clear of second place Jaromir Jagr based on assists, in 246 less games.
A record I personally don't see falling is out of the NFL, Brett Favre's 336 career interceptions, 59 more than second place George Blanda's 277 playing back in 1953 when passing wasn't close to Favre's gunslinger era, or what we have today. The only active player with a chance at the record will have to be Jameis Winston if he gets enough time behind centre, the 30 touchdowns:30 interceptions enigma himself.Â
