It may look like time travelers have swung by Steinbach, but no DeLorean is needed for this trip down memory lane.
Elmdale School's Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is selling retro ringer style t-shirts in celebration of its 70th anniversary this year.
"I must have been going through a specials box or something, looking for something, and I came across this old Elmdale shirt and I was like, 'This is the cutest little thing,'" says Mica Reimer, vice chair of the school's PAC.
She explains her brother used to wear it.
When she brought it up to the council, it was suggested the t-shirts were ordered for students and alumni.

"I'm actually buying one for my brother as a gift, and then also my mom's like, 'I want one,'" she says, adding her mom also went to the school.
Chair of the PAC, Erin Williams, says the funds made through the sales will go towards various equipment and programming at Elmdale.
"Playground updates, we also help out with some of the things like artists in the school, and the book event they do every year. Whatever we need," Williams says. "We would love to put more accessible equipment on the playground."
Reimer says there has already been interest in the shirts, from sales to conversations.

"Some of the alumni you get talking, and they're like, 'I went there,'" she says. "It's kind of fun once you start chatting with other people, and you start realizing how many connections people have to Elmdale."
The shirts will be sold until April 11.
Those interested can order them by email at elmdaleparentcouncil@gmail.com, or go into the school. A t-shirt try-on will be hosted at Elmdale on April 9 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. for anyone concerned about sizing.
The t-shirts are an extension of what the two moms love so much about being a part of the PAC.
"It's such a great opportunity to get to know other moms, to know a little bit more about the school... get to know some of the teachers, the principal." Reimer says.
Williams says she is fond of PAC as well.
"I love the kids at Elmdale, I love the teachers, and I like doing, and volunteering where I can at school," she says.
The pair invite other parents to join.
