Two dead after Friday rollover near Swift Current

Two people are dead after a rollover on Highway #1, west of Swift Current.

RCMP responded to a report of a single-vehicle rollover on April 4th at 5:35 PM.

EMS declared a 61-year-old female passenger from Redcliffe, Alberta, dead at the scene.

The second passenger, a 68-year-old man from Redcliffe, later died in hospital.

Police say the driver was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Swift Current Rural RCMP are continuing to investigate the incident with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
