The Biggar RCMP had themselves a short list this week. The April 7 report featured 33 various calls for service, including 18 different drivers receiving a lesson from officers in traffic safety.
The detachment was called into action after a few different emergency calls to 911. The first call came regarding a domestic dispute on 5 Avenue East, and then another 911 call came as an individual sought assistance dealing with an aggressive 90-year-old female.
The last 911 report came from a toddler who just didn't know any better, as police received more than one call from a three-year-old who was eager to share on his puppy, and to have a conversation about toilet paper.

The light week for police still included some paperwork. While out on patrol in Perdue, Biggar RCMP handed out a 60-day license suspension to an individual for operating a vehicle under the influence of marijuana.
Police also dealt with a few collisions during the week, including on collision with a deer on Highway #14, and then a vehicle illegally parked in front of the theatre lost its bumper in a suspected accident.
Sgt. Dereck Crozier with the Biggar RCMP also left us with some online crime reporting tools with this week's light report. It's a handy tool that allows police and residents to work together easily, and you can learn more about it in a previous story from January below:
