The Strathmore Huskers Cornhole Club has unveiled new jerseys and merchandise.

The team also said it will be running play at the Curling Rink.

President Lance Smith says he's excited to start singles play on Mondays, while Tuesdays will feature a seniors' event.

"It's going to be $10 a week for both of those events," said Smith.

The club is also hosting a regional event this weekend.

"We're expecting anywhere between 50 and 80 people from different clubs all throughout the province and even some from as far away as Vernon, B.C. so far," Smith said.

League play will be held twice a week until July, when provincials will be hosted in Strathmore from July 18 to 20.

Players will come to Strathmore from Edmonton, Medicine Hat, Okotoks, Calgary, and Lacombe.

Nationals will also be held in Edmonton this year, from Aug. 13 to 17.
