Henry Kleinsasser has been found guilty of breaching the conditions of his conditional sentence order, originally imposed on Oct. 1, 2024.
Kleinsasser was sentenced to six months of house arrest, followed by 12 months under a curfew from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., after being convicted in September 2023 of impaired operation of a vehicle causing death and bodily harm, as well as dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death and bodily harm.
On April 4, 2025, three days after completing his house arrest, Kleinsasser was seen in Kindersley past his 10 p.m. curfew while leaving a cannabis dispensary. He was found to be in breach of two conditions: violating his curfew and consuming drugs not prescribed to him.
As a result, Kleinsasser was sentenced to an additional three months of house arrest, followed by another 12 months under curfew at his residence in the Smiley Colony.
In separate matters, Brenden Wilson was given a release order on $1,500 bail, with his case adjourned to April 29.
Deanna O’Brien’s matters were adjourned to May 20 to allow the Crown time to obtain a victim impact statement.
Other matters were also adjourned to April 29 and May 6.
Two major cases were also adjourned during court April 1. Lyndsay Neumeier’s case was adjourned to April 29, while the Cisna, Nernberg and Finlay matters were adjourned to May 6.
