Police presence in Davidson ends following morning investigation: RCMP

Saskatchewan RCMP say an increased police presence in the town of Davidson has ended following an earlier investigation Thursday morning.

Mounties issued a notice around 8:40 a.m. asking residents to avoid areas where officers were active and to follow any directions given by police.

Details regarding the nature of the investigation have not yet been released.

In a brief follow-up statement just after 10 a.m., RCMP confirmed the police presence had concluded and said further information would be shared when available.

Officials said there was no imminent risk to public safety during the incident.
