Two women are in hospital with serious injuries following a two-vehicle collision Thursday night on Highway 14, east of the Grandora turnoff.

Warman RCMP say they received a report of the crash around 9:35 p.m. on April 10. Emergency crews, including local EMS, fire, and STARS air ambulance, responded to the scene.

Investigators say the crash involved a car and an SUV. The lone occupant of the car, an adult female, was airlifted to hospital by STARS with serious injuries. The adult female driver of the SUV was also seriously hurt and transported to hospital by EMS.

Highway 14 was temporarily closed while emergency responders worked at the scene. It has since been re-opened to traffic.

RCMP continue to investigate the cause of the collision with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
