The Saskatchewan RCMP has updated its monthly list of wanted individuals, highlighting offenders considered to present a significant risk to public safety across the province.

The RCMP says the list is not exhaustive, but features individuals selected through a data-driven scoring system that uses the Crime Severity Index — a national tool from Statistics Canada that considers both the frequency and seriousness of offences. Personal factors such as age, gender, or background are not considered in determining the offenders featured.

Among those currently wanted is Brenden Ross Taylor, 34, who is facing two counts each of sexual assault and sexual interference. Taylor may be in the communities of Cabri or Swift Current, or possibly in Edmonton, Alta. He is described as being 5'10", weighing 149 pounds, with light brown hair and hazel eyes.

Police are also still looking for James David Troy Richards, 56, also known as Troy Richards. He is wanted on multiple charges, including two counts of assault, aggravated assault, unlawful confinement, and uttering threats. Additional offences range from dangerous operation of a motor vehicle to failure to stop after an accident. Richards may be in the Kindersley area, or elsewhere in western Canada, such as Pinewood, B.C., or Goodfare, Alta. He is considered violent, and the public is advised not to approach him.

The RCMP says the list’s goal is to encourage public assistance in locating these individuals. “Do not attempt to contact, approach or apprehend these individuals on your own,” police advised. “If you have information on their whereabouts, call 310-RCMP or 911 in an emergency.”

Three individuals from the March 2025 list have been arrested:

  • Dalyn Rae Janvier, arrested March 21 by Prince Albert Police Service.

  • Gerry Lloyd Roberts, arrested March 26 in Hall Lake by the La Ronge Crime Reduction Team.

  • William Albert Charles, arrested April 7 by La Ronge RCMP.

The RCMP says the list is reviewed regularly. Four new offenders were added this month based on current Crime Severity Index scores.

Efforts to apprehend high-priority individuals are led by the Warrant Enforcement and Suppression Teams (WEST), located in Saskatoon and Prince Albert. These teams work closely with other police agencies, correctional services and the RCMP’s Saskatchewan Enforcement Response Teams (SERT).

The RCMP’s SERT Analytical Team helps identify and prioritize targets, allowing law enforcement to focus resources on the most serious offenders.

The Saskatchewan RCMP says the wanted persons list will continue to be updated monthly.
