Public urged to avoid area as crews battle fire near Chestermere

Chestermere Fire Services are on scene responding to a structure fire on Township 241A.

"Additional support is being provided by fire departments from Rocky View and Strathmore," the City of Chestermere said in a statement.

"At this time, there are no road closures in effect. However, we strongly urge the public to avoid the area."
