After a tragic year, losing her entire family in a plane crash, Autumn Nelon is set to grace the stage again, this time as a solo act.
The family group were on their way to join the Gaither Homecoming Cruise to Alaska in July 2024 when tragedy struck.
The Nelon's plane crashed, claiming the lives of Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark, Amber and Nathan Kistler and their assistant, Melodi Hodges. The pilot, Larry Haynie and his wife, Melissa, were also killed in the crash.
Autumn, the youngest in the group and her husband, Jaime Streetman, were not on the plane. They arrived safely in Seattle, where they received the news that their family had perished in a plane crash.
On Friday, Autumn will release her first solo single, "God Won't," featuring Grammy-nominated and Dove Award-winning group The Isaacs.
Nelon says the new track delivers a message of hope and divine faithfulness.
"This song means more to me than I can say," said Autumn. "After everything I’ve walked through, ‘God Won’t’ has become my anthem. I’ve learned firsthand that even when life feels completely shattered, God’s presence is constant, and His promises never fail. And I couldn’t imagine a more perfect group than The Isaacs to help me share this truth."
She says the song speaks into seasons of uncertainty, loss, and fear, reminding listeners that God won’t leave, forsake, or forget his children.
Autumn plans to hit the road this spring and summer in support of her music.
"God Won’t" will be available on all digital platforms on Friday, April 18, 2025.
