It was a special day worth celebrating for one longtime Strathmore dentist.
Drinks, food and conversation flowed as family, friends, and colleagues gathered to honour Dr. Elizabeth Robinson who officially said goodbye to the profession during a retirement party Wednesday afternoon.

Dr. Leanne Lesniak, owner of Crystal Ridge Dental Centre says she's known Robinson since 1999, when the practice first opened.
"In 26 years, we've become best friends. We hike together; we holiday together. It's been a rocky ride, but in the end, it's just been fantastic."
Glenda Middleton, a former assistant at the practice, has known Robinson for 36 years.
"We used to work at another dental office in downtown Strathmore," she said. "Then also I worked with Dr. Robinson in Forest Lane in Calgary."
Lesniak said it will be different not seeing Robinson every day.
"I'm going to miss her dearly. But I will continue our relationship being friends."
According to Lesniak, Robinson has played a significant role in the community.
"She moved from Calgary, 15 minutes out of town. It's really important to celebrate something like this."
Dr. Jesse Cockx, a dentist and co-owner at Crystal Ridge, said Robinson has been an incredible mentor.
"I can always count on her to tell me all of her stories. I'm excited to hopefully continue the legacy.
