Lowe Farm School is very excited to be hosting, for the first time in a long time, a scholastic book fair! For the entire student body it will be first time experiencing a very nostalgic event for many of us who grew up with the iconic event.
It's taking place at the Lowe Farm School office April 22nd - 24th, 9:00am-4:00pm each day. Just come ring the doorbell and they will let you in to shop.
First Experience
Lowe Farm School librarian Brittany Thiessen is very excited to bring a Scholastic Book Fair back to Lowe Farm School this week, for the entire school of 70 students, this will be a brand new experience for them: "we have a school of kids who have never experienced a book fair before. This will be a totally new thing for them, it's actually been more the parents and the staff who are showing the most excitement because they remember attending book fairs when they were students."
Everyone is invited!
Lowe Farm School librarian Brittany Thiessen: "we would love to welcome community members to come out and shop at the fair. If you live even in a community close by or you're a parent, Grandparent or a home school family and you want to buy something new. This is a really great local and affordable option."
Special event for Wednesday evening
"On Wednesday, April 23rd, we're having an evening event. We're calling it our sip and shop. Big Sky coffee will be coming out from Rosenort, they're going to be set up at the school from 4:00 till 7:30 and they'll be inside, so you don't have to freeze if it's cold. You can buy one of their specialty coffees or teas, I recommend the salted caramel latte and the PTA will also have a bake sale set up too, so you can snack, you can drink, and you can shop."
