Niverville jewelry shop broken into; thieves clean out store

RCMP are looking for tips after a jewelry store in Niverville was broken into this week.

It happened at 88 Carats Co. on Main Street. Niverville RCMP were notified on Tuesday at 9:30 am of the break and enter. 

Officers were told that the store owner had just arrived and discovered the building had been broken into. Investigation revealed the suspects gained entry through breaking a second storey window sometime overnight. 

An undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise, including jewelry, was stolen.
