Steinbach man caught going 123 km/h in a 50 km/h zone

A Steinbach man is facing consequences after going 123 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.

Steinbach RCMP say the 18-year-old driver was stopped on March 27 around 2 a.m. by officers who were conducting proactive speed reinforcement.

The driver was given a $1006 ticket, a license review by Manitoba Public Insurance, and a ticket for driving without a supervised driver.
