Canadians take advantage of advance polls as more than 7 million cast a ballot

Canadians took advantage of advance voting over the Easter long weekend.

Advance voting ran from April 18 to 21.

According to Elections Canada, 7.3 million people cast advance ballots.

During the 2021 election, only 5.1 million Canadians took advantage of advance voting.

Currently, there is no breakdown of how many people voted in advance in the Bow River riding.

Residents will have one more chance to vote on election day, which is scheduled for April 28.
