Seed and Feed is back with a new name, Meals on the Farm, on 104.5 More Country!
Staff with 104.5 More Country will be heading out next month to deliver food from Baldwin BBQ to hardworking farmers in the field.
Garrett Forster and Kurt Paskal, workers with Johnston's Grain, is one of the sponsors of the event.
"Johnson's Grain is a grain company, first and foremost. We started in Welwyn, Saskatchewan in 1986. One man, one shed, one goal, started with a mustard contract in Australia, and since then, we've grown tremendously to be kind of a fully faceted agriculture company," explained Forster.
The pair both grew up in rural Alberta and say that connecting with farmers and rural Albertans is something they love to do.
"I think the Meals on the Farm is the least we can do to give back to farmers who have shown us support through Johnson's Grain and the community," said Paskal.
Thank you to the events sponsors, Strathmore Seed, Baldwin BBQ, Fountain Tire, and Johnson's Grain.
